Spending only 3 nights in Brugge in a lovely AirBnB, just enough to see a few sights. We were intending to spend a day in Brussells but Brugge was so interesting and fun we never got that far.

Our apartment was right on top of the old town, so it was an easy walk along the canals, into the squares, and so much to experience.

The architecture was really special, and more readily accessed and appreciated via a canal boat ride with a good driver.

It’s touristy, but not massively so, and altogether a very nice, very liveable city.
